Designed Without the Limitations of a Range
We don't start with a particular manufacturer or furniture range. We start with your home, how you want your kitchen to work and the budget you want to invest.
That gives us the freedom to use well-made standard cabinetry where it makes sense, adapt furniture to suit the space, and design completely bespoke pieces when something more individual is needed. In many kitchens, we combine all three.
An awkward corner doesn't have to stay awkward, an unusual idea doesn't have to be dismissed because it isn't available in a catalogue, and your entire kitchen doesn't have to become bespoke simply because one part of it needs to be.
Some of our clients call it a hybrid kitchen. We call it the Fox & Bear way.

Good design isn't only about where to spend. It's also about knowing where you don't need to.
Over the years, we've found clever ways to make our clients' budgets work harder, from combining standard and bespoke furniture to sourcing materials intelligently and working directly with independent British manufacturers and local specialists.
We keep things intentionally lean too. Rather than carrying the cost of an expensive high-street showroom, we'd rather invest in the people, materials and craftsmanship that go into our projects.
There are quite a few ways we do it.
Collected, Not Simply Installed
We love the details that make a kitchen feel personal. Patterned fabric behind a glazed cabinet, brass shelf brackets and rails, a timber prep table, beautiful sinks and taps, oak shelving or a perfectly considered handle can completely change the character of a room.
Some pieces are sourced, some are made for us and others are designed from scratch. We bring them together to create kitchens that feel as though they belong to the home rather than arriving as a matching set.
From Design to Installation
We can take care of the whole kitchen project, from the initial design and cabinetry through to worktops, appliances, installation and the finishing details.
We work with trusted trades and carefully coordinate each stage, giving you one point of contact throughout the project.

Our managed kitchen projects typically start from £25,000, with the final investment depending on the size of the space, furniture, worktops, appliances and level of bespoke detailing.
We'll talk about budget early in the process, so the design can be developed with your priorities and investment in mind from the beginning.
