The Overview

The soft pink shaker cabinetry forms the foundation of this cosy yet practical kitchen, enhanced by white quartz worktops for a clean and fresh aesthetic. Traditional influences are evident in the detailing, from the farmhouse sink to the brass tapware and classic handles. Repurposed open shelving adds to the charm, displaying a curated collection of jars, crockery and playful decorative pieces, while wooden accents, such as the chopping board and shelving, bring natural warmth to the space.

Traditional influences shine through in the elegant brass mixer tap, complete with white porcelain handles which perfectly complement the deep ceramic farmhouse sink from Caple. Classic bronze cup handles and knobs enhance the timeless appeal of the cabinetry, seamlessly tying the design together. Bespoke touches from the Hawkshaw door colour to the deep snack drawer add individuality, while personalised décor—including colourful vases, playful lettering, vintage jars and quirky details—brings a sense of fun and character, making the space truly unique and reflective of the homeowner’s style.

“I have dreamed of having a Victorian-ish cake kitchen for years, and Olga has made that vision a reality. She was there every step of the way, and her knowledge and skill helped make the most of the small space.

It now feels twice the size and functions so much better. Cooking in it is a joy—and cleaning it is almost one too!
