About Us

Fox & Bear is an independent interior design studio based in Fakenham, Norfolk, founded by interior designer Olga Jaszewska and product designer Anthony Taylor.

We design kitchens, fitted furniture and interiors for homes across Norfolk and North Norfolk, combining thoughtful space planning with furniture, materials and details chosen around the people who live there.

Founded in 2015, Fox & Bear grew from our shared belief that good design shouldn't be dictated by a catalogue. Every home and every client is different, so we approach each project individually, finding the right combination of design, products, makers and bespoke solutions to create spaces that work beautifully for the people who use them.

Working Together

We work closely with a trusted network of local tradespeople, makers and specialist suppliers who help us bring our designs to life. From furniture makers and decorators to electricians, flooring specialists and worktop fabricators, we bring together the right people for each project.

This means we can look beyond the furniture itself and help manage the different elements needed to create a finished space. It also gives us the flexibility to source locally, commission bespoke pieces and work with specialists when a project calls for something a little different.

Many of these are relationships we've built over many years, giving us a network of people whose work we know and trust.

A Few of Our Projects

From kitchens and fitted furniture to complete interior schemes, our projects reflect the homes and people they're designed for. Take a look at some of our work across Norfolk and North Norfolk.

Olga Jaszewska is the interior designer behind Fox & Bear, with a background spanning interior design, kitchen design, furniture and interiors-led retail. After beginning her interior design studies in London in 2006, she went on to work across the interiors industry before moving into professional interior design and later designing interiors for properties in the UK and overseas.

After moving to Norfolk, Olga spent several years designing kitchens and interiors for two established independent kitchen studios before founding Fox & Bear with Anthony. That experience has shaped an approach that looks beyond individual pieces of furniture to consider the way a whole room, and often the wider home, needs to work.

Today, Olga leads the interior design side of Fox & Bear, combining space planning, colour, materials and practical detail to create homes that feel individual, considered and genuinely suited to the people who live in them.

Meet Anthony

Anthony Taylor brings a product designer’s perspective to Fox & Bear, with a background in furniture design and making that began with his own furniture company in Cape Town before moving to the UK nearly three decades ago.

Today, Anthony takes care of much of the technical side of our projects, developing technical drawings and working through the bespoke elements that make each design possible. From unusual cabinetry and furniture details to one-off solutions for awkward spaces, his understanding of materials, construction and making is an important part of how our designs come together.

Olga and Anthony often work on designs together, combining interior and spatial design with product design and technical knowledge. It means ideas are considered not only in terms of how they look and how a space feels, but also how they will be made, installed and used for years to come.

What Our Clients Say.

As a truly independent design studio, we aren't tied to a particular manufacturer, supplier or furniture range. That gives us the freedom to start with what our clients want to achieve and then find the best way to make it happen.

Sometimes that means using well-made standard cabinetry where it makes sense, adapting sizes where needed and combining it with bespoke elements designed by us. We might introduce a reclaimed piece, commission something from one of our makers or create an entirely new piece from scratch. Every project can take a different route.

Our starting point is rarely “that doesn't come in this range.” It's much more likely to be “let us look at how we can make that work.”

We're driven by possibilities, not limitations.
