Farmhouse Shaker Kitchen
The Overview
Transforming this kitchen and utility into a refined yet highly functional space required a thoughtful approach to design and layout. The Hawkshaw door range in Mint Green and Oyster, paired with Lancaster oak carcasses and dovetail drawers, creates a classic yet inviting atmosphere. A bespoke island with an end-grain worktop provides a striking centrepiece, complemented by full stave prime oak and Calacatta Imperiale quartz surfaces. With no wall units due to low ceilings, a Neff ducted-out venting hob preserves an open feel, while hidden larder units offer discreet storage for a coffee station and integrated appliances. Symmetry played a key role in the design, ensuring a perfectly balanced and cohesive space.
Key Features
Every element of this kitchen was designed with precision and care. The Belfast sink by Caple, paired with a patinated brass Quooker tap, adds a touch of heritage charm, complemented by brass handles and a towel rail from Yester Home. Bespoke oak cutlery and utensil inserts enhance functionality, ensuring a place for everything. Throughout the project, the focus remained on achieving a seamless blend of style and practicality- resulting in a space that is as enjoyable to use as it is to admire.
