Charming Oak Kitchen

A celebration of natural materials and thoughtful design, this warm and characterful kitchen brings oak to the forefront, embracing its beauty in every detail. With bespoke timber touches, clever spatial planning and a seamless connection to the garden, it’s a space that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

The Overview

Once an underutilised space, this kitchen was reimagined by removing a dividing wall and relocating the upstairs kitchen downstairs. Now opening onto the garden, it feels bright and welcoming, with oak worktops, shelving and handcrafted handles bringing warmth and cohesion. A previously awkward nook beside the chimney breast was cleverly transformed into a pantry-style feature with Tuscan and Charcoal panelling, easily integrating the existing black fridge freezer. Light wall units and a custom extractor housing enhance the sense of space, making the kitchen feel both open and inviting.

Designed for efficiency and ease, this kitchen ensures every item has a place. Oak dovetail drawers with bespoke cutlery inserts provide smart storage, while handcrafted wooden cup handles add a personal touch. The pantry-style nook makes use of an awkward space, integrating the fridge freezer seamlessly. With lighter wall units for balance, a feature extractor housing for character, the space is as practical as it is stylish. This client particularly loves the added lighting and glazed unit.
